Terms of Service
These terms govern the service flyMeUp provides when you ask us to pursue a flight compensation claim. Please read them with our Privacy Notice.
1. Our service
flyMeUp assesses your flight and, where there is a valid claim, pursues compensation from the operating airline on your behalf under Regulation (EC) 261/2004 and UK261. We cannot guarantee an outcome.
2. Your authority to us
By submitting a claim you appoint flyMeUp to act for you, to correspond and negotiate with the airline, and to receive compensation on your behalf for onward payment to you. You confirm the information you give is accurate and that you are entitled to claim (or are authorised to claim for a fellow passenger, such as a minor in your care).
3. Our fee — no win, no fee
There is no upfront cost. If your claim succeeds, we deduct a fee of [FEE %] (incl. VAT where applicable) from the compensation and pay you the balance. If the claim does not succeed, you owe us nothing. Full fee details are provided before you commit.
4. Your right to cancel
You may cancel within 14 days of submitting your claim at no cost by emailing [email protected]. If you ask us to begin work during that period and later cancel, we may charge for work reasonably done. After compensation is secured, our fee remains payable.
5. Payments
We pay your share to the account you provide, promptly after cleared funds are received from the airline. Please keep your contact and payment details up to date.
6. Your responsibilities
Give us accurate information, do not pursue the same claim through another party at the same time, and tell us if the airline contacts you directly about the claim.
7. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for the airline's decisions or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Data protection
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Notice.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [England & Wales]and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Contact: [email protected].
This is a template for implementation, not a substitute for legal advice. Complete the bracketed items and have a solicitor review it — especially the fee, cancellation and consumer-law terms — before launch.
